What happens after I register?
CONFIRMATION PACKET:
You will receive a receipt after your application is processed. As we approach the beginning of camp, we will post the following information on our website www.bootcampjamz.com:
• Directions to the camp: Roger Bacon High School
• Equipment rental/purchase information
• Health forms to be completed, signed by a doctor, and returned to Boot Camp Jamz™. Parents must notify us of any medications their child may be taking.

What is the weekly schedule?Each camper joins a band and spends the week writing, rehearsing and performing their original songs.
Band rehearsals will focus on ensemble: listening and playing together, rehearsal techniques, onstage preparation, performance techniques and many other skills.
Each week there are Master Classes on instrumental performance techniques, or Clinics on developing fan bases, MySpace pages, a music business overview or radio and internet broadcasting.
Also each Saturday at 4 pm, Boot Camp Jamz presents a showcase of all bands at Jefferson Hall, Newport on the Levee. -
What do I need to bring?For all sessions bring your guitar or bass, cord and any stand, instrumental or music, that you want to use. Keyboards, drum set and microphones are provided.
Bring a lunch, snack and drink. -
What does the tuition fee cover?The tuition covers all instruction, t-shirt, CD, art materials and supplies.

What is the policy on deposits?
Total due to reserve a space is $250 per session. Full payment due February 28, 2007.
Payment by check or credit card required with registration. Minimum deposit payment of $250 by check required to reserve your session. Balance of $290 required by February 28, 2007. All credit card payments are made in full.

What is the Boot Camp Jamz policy on cancellation and refunds?CANCELLATION POLICY:
Prior to May 15, 2007.
Cancellation requests must be received in
writing by certified mail. Boot Camp Jamz™
will retain a $75 cancellation fee and a $35
application fee. The balance will be refunded.
After May 15, 2007, tuition and fees are
nonrefundable. -
What is the Boot Camp Jamz policy on discipline?STUDENT CONDUCT
Boot Camp Jamz™ has a friendly, creative
atmosphere where campers can enjoy themselves
while developing their musical skills.
Campers are supervised by counselors and
staff, but must take responsibility for their
own belongings. Campers are encouraged to
label their property. Boot Camp will not be
held accountable for theft or damage of property.
Any camper who exhibits behavioral
problems that are detrimental to the running
of the Boot Camp Jamz™ program, or mistreats
fellow campers, staff or facilities, will
be asked to leave.
