My son enjoyed his first intense music experience tremendously. Any camp that can keep preteens and teens engrossed for five full days is worthwhile in my eyes, as well as fun!

I have nothing but good things to say about this camp. This camp took my 14-year-old - who'd had maybe three months of bass lessons prior to camp - into an experiential learning experience with skilled teachers that totally challenged and inspired him. The kids who ranged in age from 9 to 17 were divided into groups according to their instrument. They received individual tutoring and group learning of music theory daily, not from books but from teachers who knew their music. The best part was from the moment they walked in the door, every kid kid was immediately part of a band where they worked all week on preparing two songs to perform. Two bands even wrote their own song! This culminated in an awesome performance on Friday afternoon downtown on a real stage in a real club. The kids truly rocked, and parents, friends, and anyone lucky enough to be there, were amazed at how good each band sounded - all in just one week! I wish as many kids as possible could be exposed to this kind of sophisticated yet experiential music learning. Thank you for your creativity and hard work.

What a terrific camp. Worth every penny. The kids do so much in such a short time and they sound great! Thanks to all who participated.
